Muzility's Organization Muzility is established as a Limited Liability Company (LLC). Its founding members are experienced in media, entertainment, marketing, Internet business practices and technology. Members of Muzility's Executive Board of DirectorsHerb
Blomquist, Tony Horwath, Bill Leikam Muzility's executive team consists of seasoned business executives well versed in managing multi-million dollar projects as well as small to large companies. Officers and personnel of the company, their duties and responsibilities are: Tony Horwath, CEOStrategic and Tactical Planning, Technical Development and Business Development Tony is a musician-videographer, media-IT expert and a professional real estate investor. He has focused in these areas for over 30 years. Tony's management skills: relating to people, time management, money and the delivery of products and services. These have been developed and refined in the management of his family's real estate investments, as broker at Marcus and Millichap, a leading national real estate investment brokerage firm, and as Vice President of Diversified Investment and Management. In that capacity, he managed an $80 million portfolio of apartment, office and industrial buildings, shopping centers and vineyards. His clients have ranged from individual investors to national food and drug retailers such as Safeway, Longs Drugs and Wal-Mart. Tony served as a consultant at Hewlett-Packard (HP) Labs, providing expert domain knowledge in "Real Estate on the Internet" where he worked with Herb Blomquist, Special Assistant to the Director of HP Labs to develop Real Estate Internet technology based on an "Information Utility." Joel Birnbaum, the Director of HP Labs, pioneered this. This experience at the labs provides the model for Muzility as a video information utility. Tony then took a position at Home Financial Network, as the company's CIO. Tony is also one of the four founders of Friday Night Music which for over 20 years has served as the network, laboratory, think-tank and well-spring of multimedia, information technology, creativity and talent in Silicon Valley from which Muzility was founded. Friday Night Music with its all-encompassing approach to art and technology set the stage for Muzility's growth of Internet Video. Tony is a graduate of the College for Recording Arts and Sciences, San Francisco, California and the University of California at Santa Cruz in Behavioral Influences of the Music Media; an interdisciplinary degree in Music, Psychology, Business and Law. Bill Leikam, PresidentCompany legal and organizational matters, strategic planning, marketing, communications and promotion Bill has held key positions with several innovative companies, including Vice President of Life Plan, Inc., CEO of IllusionQuest, LLC, President of Projects Unlimited and President of J. L. & L. Industries. He has long been involved with both entertainment and production as an executive producer for several hit albums. ("Journey of the Drums," "In Love Again" and the Grammy nominated album "Blues from the Rain Forest.") As a founding board member of MasterPeace, Inc., a non-profit corporation, Bill was a key contributor to the design, development and the highly successful execution of the largest conference held at Stanford University in 2001. Bill also helped to develop The Musart Company, an independent record label, where he served as vice president and producer, negotiating contracts, developing new album concepts, booking, marketing and tour management. In this capacity, he also led the advertising and promotion departments. In general, all aspects of business were within his purview. (1989 - 1997) As Muzility's President Bill brings to the job his broad knowledge in varied fields, working with a cross-section of the company including establishing the company as an LLC. He advises on company agreements, helps establish policy, and helps to shape the focus and strategy of the company. He works hand-in-hand with the company's chief executive officer and president of business development in guiding the further development of Muzility. Bill holds degrees in English Literature and Philosophy from San Jose State University with doctorate work in Humanistic Psychology at the Saybrook Institute in San Francisco. Herb Blomquist, President of Business DevelopmentStrategic and tactical planning, business development and systems architecture Herb has held key positions with several major technology companies, including Vice President and Deputy Director of Research for Seagate Technology's Research Center, where he partnered in the establishment of Seagate's first Research Center, targeted to grow to 300 researchers, in Pittsburgh, Pa, and to lead the research activities in the area of Storage Systems Software. He was involved in many data storage intensive business development opportunities. Specifically, he developed a strategy and several business cases for Seagate to enter the Internet space and offer Storage as a Service. He managed the development and daily operations of the Research Center, including a move to a temporary facility and the planning of the final facility, completed in late 2001. At Hewlett-Packard Herb proposed and established a business entity within HP to provide HP developers with a pool of contracted programming skills from People's Republic of China, India, Central European countries and Russia, consistent with their development needs in an extremely cost effective manner. Over the years in this capacity, with hundreds of person - years of programming resources were contracted resulting in a substantial cost savings to HP and allowing these functions to get to market much sooner than originally planned. He helped HP strengthen its marketing position in these countries. For example, he was responsible for HP's Precision Architecture, system level performance, and system level integration and test activities. Mr. Blomquist held fourth level management responsibilities for 250 permanent and 50 contracted development personnel. Herb previously worked at IBM, where he held various management positions in product development. Monty Moore, CFOFinancial operations and planning support Monty has extensive experience in the areas of financial management, planning and control, business operations and information systems design and implementation. Most recently, Monty has been involved with several forward-thinking start-up companies as an executive involved in corporate finance, operations and business planning. Previously, Monty has held key management roles with: Ocuity, LLC (CFO) Acrossworld Communications (Director of Finance and COO) Ameritrack, Inc. (Vice President Finance & Operations, founding team) Interlink Communications, Inc. (Vice President, Treasurer and CFO) California Microwave, Inc. (VP/Controller - Services Division) Monty also spent four years at Silicon Graphics, Inc., where he was responsible for Worldwide Financial Planning. Prior to Silicon Graphics, Monty was at Unisys Corporation for more than thirteen years, where he completed his tenure as Director of Business Operations.
